Panel for Midland M 88 CB
Some of us used CB radio to communicate with friends durng trips. Grenadier was not prepared for such need. There is not a place for CB radio.
I chose the Midland M88 which is really very compact. Unfortunately, it is necessary to remove the stock cup holder panel, which may be a problem for some. But the place is perfect - the radio is at hand and the microphone too. All you need to do is unscrew the cup holder panel and mount panel for radio.
There is enough space in the center console for the power cable and antenna cable. I brought them to the passenger compartment (in our case on the right side) where the 12V power cable from the INT2 switch under the A-pillar ends (you can use our 12V socket holder). And in this place there is a transition to the engine compartment where the antenna cable can be routed.
No drilling no cluing. And how to mount the anntena is shown with the next product.
